Trump Claims His Crypto Investments Are 'Legal'

Trump's CNBC Interview on Crypto Investments and Family Business Matters

U.S. President Donald Trump told CNBC that there is "nothing illegal" about his crypto investments, describing himself as "a really good business person".

His financial disclosures show over $580 million in crypto-related income, including about $515 million from Trump-linked World Liberty Financial token sales.

Trump also defended his family's business interests, arguing that his children face unusually broad scrutiny due to presidential policy affecting nearly every part of the economy.

He stated that he has chosen to forgo the Presidential salary, saying the role presents a "bigger purpose" than making money.

U.S. job creation slowed in June, with payrolls growth at just 57,000.

Stocks in Asia are up, tracking the Dow Jones Industrial average higher after the index closed at a record high.

Robinhood's CEO mentioned that AI agents will soon be able to match human traders.
