Tolma and Khinkali Fail to Meet Standards

The food safety authority conducted an inspection at a public catering facility owned by "Bonost" LLC (Yerevan, Saryan 16, building 79, "Ost. wine and food"). Samples were taken from the available food items. Laboratory tests revealed that dangerous food products were being produced: samples of "tolma" and "khinkali" did not meet the standards for mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic bacteria (MAFAnMK) as per the requirements of the Customs Union technical regulations on food safety. By the decision of the head of the authority, the production of "tolma" and "khinkali" has been suspended. A deadline has been set for eliminating the identified violations.
