The Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, received the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Alexandra Cole, in Armenia. This was reported by the press service of the Yerevan City Hall.
“During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation between Yerevan and British cities at the level of local self-government:
Presenting to the ambassador important development programs of the city and large construction projects that attract investment interest, Mayor Avinyan noted that Yerevan is open to innovative ideas, leading technologies, and sustainable investments.
Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, Ambassador Alexandra Cole, in turn, noted that within the framework of her powers, she will support the presentation of Yerevan's investment opportunities and the attraction of British investors.
“Yerevan is an attractive and interesting market for deepening bilateral economic cooperation,” the ambassador noted.
The importance of exchanging experience in infrastructure development, urban design, and improvement of public spaces, as well as digital transformation, was also emphasized,” the message states.
