SpaceX CFO Bret Johnsen used a Goldman Sachs conference to provide an update on the company’s sales targets and the next steps for the Starship program.
He said the rocket maker has secured a new AI compute customer worth about $13 billion a year. The deal would represent a major addition to SpaceX revenue and highlights strong demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure.
Johnsen also said that the Starship flight planned for later this month will be the spacecraft’s first revenue-generating mission. That marks an important milestone for the program as SpaceX works to move Starship from the test phase toward broader commercial use.
The report also noted that SPCX stock rose on Friday, trading near higher levels.
