YEREVAN, August 24. /ARKA/. The international rating agency S&P Global Ratings has confirmed the long-term and short-term sovereign ratings of the Republic of Armenia at 'BB-/B', maintaining a 'positive' outlook on the rating, the country's Ministry of Finance reports.
Among the key factors supporting the rating, the agency highlighted Armenia's reasonable and predictable macroeconomic policy framework, favorable economic growth prospects, and a manageable and sustainable level of public debt.
The 'positive' outlook on the rating is attributed to the potential for further strengthening Armenia's external resilience, particularly progress noted in the normalization of regional relations.
