The list of companies listed on the Armenian Stock Exchange (AMX) continues to expand, contributing to the development of the capital market and creating new opportunities for companies. Today, the capital market welcomes Solis LLC, owned by the EU-Armenia SME Fund managed by Amber Capital, which operates in the renewable energy sector, primarily selling electricity generated from photovoltaic solar power plants. The company's presence in the capital market will further strengthen the ties between the renewable energy sector and the financial market in Armenia.
The official announcement of Solis LLC's entry into the capital market was made during the traditional bell-ringing ceremony at the Armenian Stock Exchange (AMX), marking a new phase of development for the company.
Starting from August 18, investors will have the opportunity to buy or sell Solis LLC bonds through banks or investment companies that are members of the exchange.
The bonds of Solis LLC, with a total nominal volume of $2,000,000, will be included in the main bond list of the Armenian Stock Exchange (Abond). A total of 20,000 bonds will be issued, each with a nominal value of $100, an 8% coupon yield, and a maturity period of 48 months. These bonds will also allow for address trading and repo transactions.
The placement of the bonds was carried out by Ameriabank from June 4 to June 29, 2026.
The General Director of the Armenian Stock Exchange, Hayk Eganian, stated:
The entry of Solis into the capital market is a significant step not only for the further development of the company but also for the diversification of the sector within the capital market. This listing opens up a new sector and new investment opportunities for investors, while the exchange continues to expand the diversity of listed companies.
We are confident that the listing of Solis will not only contribute to the company's further growth but will also serve as an example for other businesses, stimulating their interest in the capital market and promoting the activation of the investment environment.
Entering the capital market is an important step in the development of Solis. Today, the renewable energy sector can not only contribute to Armenia's energy independence and sustainable development but also become a long-term and institutional investment direction for the capital market. The high interest of investors in our bonds and the complete placement before the scheduled issuance date is an important signal of trust for us. We are confident that the further development of Armenia's capital market can create new financing opportunities for the real economy, including the renewable energy sector, and support the implementation of new investment projects,” said Karen Arabyan, Director of Solis LLC.
The issuance of Solis bonds is an important event for the diversification of Armenia's capital market and the creation of new investment opportunities, as the solar energy production sector is still underrepresented in the capital market. This sector is characterized by stability and predictability of cash flows and is very attractive, especially for the fixed-income instruments market. We believe that interest in Solis bonds in the secondary market will also be high, particularly among investors seeking low-risk investment opportunities,” noted Shushanik Hovsepyan, Head of Capital Markets at Ameriabank.
Solis LLC's solar power plants are located in various regions of Armenia, forming a geographically balanced portfolio and contributing to the stable and clean energy production in different parts of the country. The company's activities are aimed at strengthening Armenia's energy security through institutional oversight, professional management, and a long-term investment approach. By utilizing modern technologies and advanced equipment, the company builds, manages, and operates solar power plants that provide efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly electricity production.
Approximately 75% of the funds raised from the bond placement will be directed towards refinancing existing loans, while 25% will be allocated for capital expenditures and expansion of operations.
The exchange will continue to support the involvement of responsible and transparent companies in the market, creating a reliable investment environment and facilitating the financing of the real sector through capital market instruments.
