The Embassy of Bulgaria in Armenia announces the resumption of direct flights from Sofia to Yerevan starting November 7, 2026. "The launch of this flight was the result of the efforts of Ambassador Nikola Nikolov and the exceptional support of Captain Yanko Ivanov, representing the airline GullivAir," the embassy stated on its Facebook page.
This flight opens new opportunities for direct contacts between the citizens of Bulgaria and Armenia, as well as for the development of bilateral cooperation in the fields of business, culture, sports, tourism, and other initiatives and programs of mutual interest.
"Ambassador Nikolov expresses his sincere gratitude to Bulgarian institutions for their understanding and support in intensifying bilateral relations with the Republic of Armenia. The restoration of direct air communication Sofia-Yerevan-Sofia is an important step towards deepening contacts between the two nations and opens new opportunities for the development and strengthening of bilateral dialogue," the Bulgarian embassy added.
