A meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was held to discuss issues related to institutional reforms in the field of technical quality control of construction. This was reported by the press service of the government.
The head of the Urban Development Committee, Eghiazary Vardanyan, provided details on the digitization of technical quality control in construction and the modernization of legal regulations aimed at improving project expertise and quality, adopting a new pricing policy, rating construction and development companies, encouraging the application of international building certification systems, and developing the institute for the management and operation of multi-apartment buildings.
It was emphasized that as a result of the reforms, it is expected that all participants in the process will be united in a single electronic system, online agreements will be made, work will be recorded in real time, and online access to information will be provided for controlling bodies, ensuring transparency and manageability of processes, and improving construction quality.
In this context, discussions were held on the implementation of a system for managing construction projects and conducting technical control, scalability, operation, and maintenance.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the process aimed at ensuring and enhancing quality control in construction, highlighted the importance of verifying compliance with standards at all stages, and instructed to begin the necessary steps for the implementation of the system,” the statement said.
