Starting from August 20, flights from Tabriz to Yerevan will resume after a two-year hiatus. This was announced by Mohammad Ali Nael Karamaleki, the director general of airports in East Azerbaijan province.
The route will be operated by Poya Airlines, with flights scheduled twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays.
The first flight is set for August 20 at 09:00 from Tabriz to Yerevan.
The director emphasized the importance of this route for the development of air communication with the capital of Armenia.
