Natural gas supplies to Armenia via the North Caucasus–Transcaucasia trunk pipeline will be temporarily suspended from September 15 to 25, according to Gazprom Armenia.
The company said the interruption is due to scheduled maintenance and repair work on the pipeline on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Gazprom Armenia said gas supply to consumers across the republic will continue without restrictions during that period, using domestic reserves and additional volumes of natural gas supplied from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Gazprom Armenia CJSC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Russia’s Gazprom holding and the monopoly supplier of natural gas from Russia to Armenia for domestic consumption.
