The Food Safety Inspection Body (SATM) conducted control measures at the carbonated beverage plant in Berdavan, owned by individual entrepreneur Arayik Navasardyan. During the inspection, several sanitary and hygiene violations were identified, leading to the suspension of the plant's operations.
Specifically, the surfaces of the plant's walls were not made of waterproof, washable, and disinfectable materials. Violations were also noted regarding the doors and windows: the doors were uneven and lacked non-absorbent surfaces, while the opening internal windows did not have easily removable and cleanable insect protection nets. The plant's operations have been suspended until all identified violations are fully rectified.
