The Food Safety Inspectorate (FSI) has suspended the operations of the production facility for carbonated non-alcoholic beverages under the 'Achajur' brand, owned by individual entrepreneur Garik Melikbekyan.
During an inspection conducted at the production facility located in the village of Achajur in the Tavush region, several violations of the Technical Regulation of the Customs Union on Food Safety were recorded. Specifically, it was found that the surfaces of the production building walls were not made of waterproof and washable materials, some areas were damaged, and mold was present. Additionally, the facility was not equipped with sinks for handwashing and devices for drying or wiping hands. Unused materials and equipment were stored in the production areas, the frequency of pest and rodent control measures was not established, and the food establishment lacked a changing room for staff.
By the decision of the head of the FSI, the production activities of the facility have been suspended until the identified violations are rectified.
