The head of the largest opposition faction "Strong Armenia" in the National Assembly of Armenia, Narek Karapetyan, and a member of the faction, Vice-Speaker of Parliament Aram Vardevanyan, met with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia, Alexandra Cole.
Cole congratulated Vardevanyan on his election as Deputy Chairman of the Armenian legislative body and Karapetyan on his election as the head of the "Strong Armenia" faction.
The representatives of the factions pointed out the development of cooperation between Armenia and the UK.
Narek Karapetyan informed the British diplomat about the political situation in Armenia, discussing the work of the parliament.
The discussion focused on the current challenges and issues of the judicial and legal system. Among other things, the necessity of developing the education system was particularly emphasized.
