Russia is ramping up its workforce at Iran's Bushehr nuclear plant, according to TASS news agency. Rosatom plans to increase its staff from 25 to around 100 by autumn as construction progresses on two additional reactors.
Rosatom chief Alexey Likhachev stated that five engineering and technical specialists have recently arrived at Bushehr, with several dozen more expected over the next two weeks.
Construction was halted in March when U.S. and Israeli strikes began landing close to the nuclear complex.
The current reactor at Bushehr is Iran's only operating nuclear reactor with a capacity of 915 MW.
