Rosselkhoznadzor expects Armenia to present a plan for addressing sanitary violations and improving the situation. The agency noted that it is waiting for information from the Armenian side regarding the measures taken. "As well as the action plan proposed by the Armenian side to comply with the veterinary and phytosanitary requirements of the EAEU," they added. Rosselkhoznadzor imposed a complete ban on the import and transit of all quarantine products from Armenia starting June 12, 2026. The restriction affects vegetables, fruits, flowers, dairy products, and alcohol. The reason cited was insufficient quality and safety control by Armenian authorities.
