On July 14, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan participated and delivered a speech at the ministerial segment of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development in New York under the theme 'Transformative, equitable, innovative, and systemic actions aimed at the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its goals for a sustainable future for all.'
In his speech, Robert Abisoghomonyan emphasized that sustainable development is a key direction of Armenia's long-term development strategy. In this context, he presented the priorities of the Armenia-UN Framework for Sustainable Development Cooperation for 2026-2030, which align with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and aim at its implementation.
The Deputy Foreign Minister addressed recent developments in the region, highlighting the importance of peace, connectivity, and resilient infrastructure for ensuring sustainable development.
Robert Abisoghomonyan presented the 'TRIPP' program and the signing of the framework agreement on strategic cooperation regarding it as an important factor for promoting regional connectivity, trade, and investment, as well as ensuring peace, stability, and prosperity.
