Revolut has applied for a banking license in Finland. Kuba Fast, the CEO of Revolut Bank EU, stated that obtaining the license will provide the bank's 250,000 Finnish customers access to IBAN and a range of banking services, such as local account payments and salary receipts, according to Finextra.
Currently, Finnish users of Revolut are required to use international identifiers for domestic transactions. “This move is part of Revolut's broader ambitions to become the primary bank for customers in Europe,” Fast added.
