Russia expects Armenia to provide the results of its investigation into violations in agricultural supply chains. The Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has stated that the Armenian side is expected to submit the investigation results and information about the measures taken, as well as the proposed algorithm of actions to comply with the veterinary and phytosanitary requirements of the EAEU.
Media reports recall that since early May, Russia has begun to impose restrictions on the import of Armenian agricultural products. Later, Russian Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut announced that Armenia would be able to restore agro-industrial product supplies to previous volumes only if it strictly adheres to the veterinary and phytosanitary standards of the EAEU.
