On August 7, the Kotayk regional prosecutor’s office filed lawsuits with the Anti-Corruption Court seeking to invalidate several real estate transactions and auctions involving properties owned by Gagik Tsarukyan and persons affiliated with him, and to apply the consequences of invalidity.
The Prosecutor General’s Office said that in the first lawsuit, prosecutors sought to invalidate an October 4, 2015 auction involving land belonging to Firma New LLC at Arinj Mall. The case concerns a 3.5-hectare land plot included in the list of restrictions stipulated by Article 60 of the Land Code and not subject to alienation. Prosecutors also sought to invalidate an agreement signed on October 2, 2025, between Gagik Tsarukyan and Firma New LLC, under which the real estate was contributed to the company’s charter capital as a non-monetary contribution.
In a decision dated August 19, 2026, the Anti-Corruption Court accepted the lawsuit for proceedings.
On the same day, the court granted the Prosecutor’s Office motion seeking an interim measure. Firma New LLC was prohibited from taking any action concerning the 3.5-hectare land plot located in Arinj village, Abovyan community, Kotayk region.
In its second lawsuit, the Prosecutor’s Office sought to invalidate the January 26, 2003 auction of a 14.176-hectare land plot related to the grounds of a private residence belonging to Gagik and Javahir Tsarukyan in Arinj village, Kotayk region. Prosecutors also sought to invalidate a real estate sale agreement for 12.566 hectares signed on February 15, 2003, between Aramik Sedrakyan, Gayane Sedrakyan and Gagik Tsarukyan, as well as a real estate sale agreement for 1.61 hectares signed on March 14, 2013, between Aramik Sedrakyan and Gagik Tsarukyan, and to apply the consequences of invalidity.
In a decision dated August 19, 2026, the Anti-Corruption Court also accepted this lawsuit for proceedings.
On the same day, the court also granted the Prosecutor’s Office motion seeking an interim measure. Gagik Tsarukyan and Javahir Tsarukyan were prohibited from taking any action concerning the 12.566-hectare and 1.61-hectare properties located at the aforementioned addresses.
