Today, under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan, the regular meeting of the Council for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises took place. This was reported by the government press service.
“During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted on the implementation of decisions made during previous discussions, including their impact on the operations of small and medium enterprises. In this context, opinions were exchanged on the implementation of regulations aimed at preventing the regular non-fulfillment of payment obligations between trade networks and supplier organizations, as well as the need for continued work to enhance their effectiveness.
The council members also emphasized the necessity of creating a favorable institutional environment for the implementation of the strategic program project for the competitiveness of SMEs in Armenia for 2026-2030.
Additionally, the need for simplifying administrative procedures arising in the context of implementing investment projects was addressed, with relevant instructions given by the Deputy Prime Minister,” the statement said.
