Eduard Hakobyan, chairman of Armenia’s State Revenue Committee, will take part in a meeting of the Executive Council of the Intra-European Organisation of Tax Administrations, IOTA, in Budapest.
The decision to send the SRC chief on the trip was signed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. According to the government press service, Hakobyan will be in the Hungarian capital from September 22 to 25.
Armenia joined the IOTA Executive Council for the first time in June 2026. The country obtained membership during the organisation’s 30th General Assembly, which was also held in Budapest.
IOTA events review completed work, approve budgets and work programmes, and discuss cooperation among the tax authorities of European countries.
