Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reaffirmed Yerevan's commitment to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and again excluded the possibility of a referendum on EU membership.
Pashinyan, who participated in the EAEU intergovernmental council meeting in Kyrgyzstan, noted that the EAEU continues to be one of Armenia's foreign policy priorities.
"Armenia provides favorable, equal, and non-discriminatory conditions for the activities of entrepreneurs from all EAEU member states," Pashinyan stated.
He also emphasized that Armenia has contributed more resources to the EAEU's common budget than it has received.
Despite the raised concerns, the prime ministers of the EAEU member countries did not respond to Pashinyan's questions.
"We cannot hold a referendum on a question that does not currently exist," Pashinyan remarked, commenting on the issue of EU membership.
