YEREVAN, August 27. /ARKA/. 800 billion drams will be allocated for the implementation of the housing program for individuals displaced from Karabakh, said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan:
“In the near future, we will make decisions regarding the housing provision for large families and refugees from Karabakh,” Pashinyan noted at a government meeting:
The Prime Minister reported that about 7,000 families from Karabakh have already received certificates for purchasing housing:
“In our program, we have recorded 10,000 families, but these are approximate calculations — the number may be different,” Pashinyan said:
Earlier, the president of the Artsakh Union, former ombudsman and ex-state minister of Artsakh Artak Beglaryan drew attention to the new program of the Armenian government, which provides for housing for 10,000 families displaced from Karabakh, instead of the previously stated 25,000:
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan stated that in 2025, 45.7 billion drams were actually allocated from the state budget to support compatriots displaced from Karabakh, and since 2023 — about 146 billion drams:
The Armenian authorities plan to increase the amount of the housing certificate for those displaced from Karabakh living in communities adjacent to Yerevan from 3 million to 4 million drams:
