During an inspection conducted by the Food Safety Inspection Body at a cheese factory owned by individual entrepreneur Robert Ghazaryan (in the Lori region, village of Hagvi), violations of the technical regulations of the Customs Union on food safety were found:
- The structure of the production facility did not exclude the possibility of cross-contamination of food raw materials and products;
- Some areas of the wall did not have a smooth surface, were not maintained in a repaired condition, and had holes;
- Some areas of the ceiling were not secure, which did not prevent the accumulation of dirt and the possibility of particles falling;
- The opening internal window did not have an easily removable and cleanable insect protection net;
- Some equipment, tools, and accessories were not kept in good condition;
It was also found during the inspection that a hazardous food product was produced, specifically, the sample of cheese "Chanakh 45%" presented for examination did not meet the standards established by legal acts.
By the decision of the head of the inspection body, the production activities of the cheese factory have been suspended, and a deadline has been set for eliminating the identified violations.
