Fire Point CEO Iryna Terekh states that Ukraine has "learned the hard way" that military leverage is essential for achieving diplomacy. Her comments come as Kyiv's escalating drone campaign against Russia seems to have revived hopes that the war could be shifting in Ukraine's favor.
Terekh noted, "With the Russians, you can fight with drones and missiles, but how do you fight with bureaucracy when you cannot receive a paper that you need very much to do some job?"
Fire Point, which currently facilitates over 60% of Ukraine's deep strikes, was founded in response to Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022. The company produced around 200 drones that year, and now has grown to over 7,000 employees. Terekh expects the team to produce more than 100,000 drones by year-end.
She also emphasized that Ukraine's strategies are changing, and the company is doing everything it can to support Ukraine's deep-strike ambitions.
Fire Point is known for its FP-1 and FP-5 Flamingo drones, and Terekh mentioned that the company aims to produce ballistic missile interceptors at a fraction of the cost of U.S.-made Patriots.
