Ukraine's drone campaign is expanding from Russia's Amazon-style retail giant Wildberries to major e-commerce marketplace Ozon, highlighting Ukraine's new efforts to apply pressure on Russia's economy.
Ozon, Russia's second-largest online retailer, saw its shares plunge nearly 30% on the Moscow Exchange on Monday after reports of drone strikes on its warehouses.
Ukraine's Ministry of Defense stated that the attacks aim to disrupt Russian supply chains and increase the financial burden on banks and businesses.
Ozon reported that one of the attacks caused a fire, and more than 500 employees were evacuated swiftly.
The combined revenue of Ozon and Wildberries reached approximately $140.3 billion by the end of last year, equivalent to more than 5% of Russia's GDP.
