On September 1, students of the charitable organization ‘Oreran’ welcomed the new school year with necessary supplies, supported by the ‘Power of One Dram’ initiative.
The total revenue from the ‘Power of One Dram’ initiative in August amounted to 4,719,020 drams, which was transferred to ‘Oreran’ by Idram and IDBank.
“The purpose of this collaboration is to make the new school year a celebration for the children. The children even joked that their desire to go to school with new things was even greater. We have many users who specifically choose to make payments through the Idram&IDBank app so that Idram and IDBank direct 1 dram from each of their payments to a foundation. This is very important for us because charity is not just about providing funds; it is also about contributing to the development of all those events and programs that can change lives with a single decision,” said Tatevik Vardevanyan, head of communications and social responsibility programs at Idram and IDBank.
The results of the ‘Power of One Dram’ initiative for August were summarized by representatives of the companies at ‘Oreran’ during a beautiful event prepared by the children, accompanied by songs, dances, and vibrant September spirits.
“Charity is contagious: once a person helps and feels its importance, they never stop. We are happy that Idram and IDBank chose us as a beneficiary of this important initiative as we approach the new school year, as we see how important it is for children to go to school properly dressed, with a new backpack and stationery, feeling a sense of completeness,” said Armine Hovhannisyan, founder and director of the ‘Oreran’ charitable organization.
The ‘Power of One Dram’ continues to support important social, community, and educational initiatives. To join the good deeds of the initiative, it is enough to make payments through the Idram&IDBank app, online platforms IDBanking.am and banking.idram.am, and through the terminals of Idram and IDBank, and each company will allocate 1 dram to important programs for each payment.
