Nvidia Reveals Data on $21 Billion Stake in SpaceX

Nvidia holds a $21 billion stake in the space company SpaceX

Chipmaker Nvidia has revealed information about its stake in the space company SpaceX, valued at approximately $21 billion at the end of the second quarter. This was reported by CNBC. According to documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the corporation owns 122.8 million Class A shares of Elon Musk's company, which went public in June.

According to FactSet, the processor manufacturer is the sixth largest investor in the space company, trailing behind Elon Musk, whose stake is valued at $850 billion, and Alphabet, whose package is worth $78 billion.

Nvidia acquired SpaceX shares in January as part of a $10 billion investment in the startup xAI. In February, xAI was absorbed by the space corporation in a deal worth $1.25 trillion. Earlier this month, Elon Musk announced that his company would exclusively use Nvidia chips in its data processing centers, as they have the "best architecture" for training artificial intelligence models.
