The government is continuing to review proposals from international partners on building a new power unit.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Rosatom Director General Alexey Likhachev and the delegation he led. According to the Armenian government, the talks covered work to extend the operating life of the second unit of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant and Russian proposals to build a new nuclear power unit in the country.
