Armenian Prime Minister Announces Upcoming Practical Launch of TRIPP Project

The TRIPP project will become the backbone of Armenia's economy and the region

YEREVAN, August 8. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the practical implementation of the project "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP) will begin shortly:

Pashinyan reminded that on August 8, 2025, at the initiative and participation of U.S. President Donald Trump, a trilateral meeting of the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the U.S. took place at the White House, which is now referred to as the "Peace Summit." He noted that the joint declaration adopted by him and the President of Azerbaijan, which was also signed by the U.S. President as a witness, is called the "Declaration of Peace":

One of the most important outcomes of the Washington Peace Summit, Pashinyan noted, was the TRIPP project. According to him, the project will soon end the blockade of Armenia, become the backbone of Armenia's economy and the region, and help Armenia and Azerbaijan start perceiving each other as neighbors rather than obstacles:

"We will soon begin the practical implementation of the TRIPP project, and this will be a significant regional and international event," the Prime Minister stated:

Pashinyan also noted that the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan is visible and tangible for everyone:

"In the parliamentary elections in Armenia on June 7, 2026, the citizens of the country not only expressed their confidence in peace but also stood up for its protection," he said:

At the same time, he emphasized that this does not mean that the final point has been reached in the implementation of the peace agenda:

Pashinyan reminded that the agreement "On the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan," which was initialed on August 8, 2025, in Washington by the foreign ministers of both countries in the presence of the three leaders, awaits signing and ratification:

Moreover, according to him, the delimitation between Armenia and Azerbaijan still needs to take place:

"The issue of return must be addressed both in Armenia and Azerbaijan for the sake of future generations' right to peaceful coexistence," Pashinyan concluded:
