The Administrative Court has accepted for proceedings a lawsuit filed against the Cadastre Committee by Multi Wellness, formerly owned by businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Feb. 16, 2027.
The company applied to the Administrative Court seeking to invalidate the state registration carried out by the Cadastre Committee, which terminated the company’s rights to the property at 11 Alek Manukyan Street and placed it under the authority of Yerevan Municipality.
Administrative Court Judge Hermine Muradyan accepted the lawsuit for proceedings, finding no grounds to reject it. Muradyan ordered the Cadastre Committee to provide the court with all materials related to the cadastral file within two weeks of receiving the decision.
Alongside the criminal prosecution of Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of Prosperous Armenia, which failed to enter parliament after falling just several dozen votes short of the required threshold, law enforcement authorities also sealed major businesses belonging to his family.
Yerevan Municipality announced that it was terminating the lease agreement and that the sports complex would henceforth operate under municipal authority. This means the municipality took control not only of the community-owned land, but also of the building and the property inside it. The sports facility now operates under municipal authority as Yerevan Wellness Center.
