Head of MONCS: Applications for admission to Russian-language classes in Armenia have been submitted by more than 5000 children

The number of applications for admission to Russian-language classes in Armenia is increasing

As of today, August 28, the head of MONCS, Zhanna Andreasyan, announced at a press conference that applications for admission to Russian-language classes in Armenia have been submitted by 5,427 children. She noted that the data is overall, as parents can submit documents until September 5. Andreasyan explained that this mainly concerns students in the 1st and 10th grades. "Thus, the final picture will be clear in the first days of September. Regarding last year, there were 424,939 students in Armenian schools. We expect to have similar figures this year as well," the minister noted.
