The Ministry of Economy of Armenia has responded to the statement from the NGO "Armenian-Chinese Partnership Center" claiming that the ministry is hindering its participation in the International Import Exhibition "CIIE".
The ministry noted that for many years it has ensured Armenia's participation in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) with a unified national pavilion. Under this program, the NGO participated in the exhibition with the support of the ministry from 2023 to 2025.
During the preparatory phase for the 2025 exhibition, the ministry learned that the organization planned to participate with a separate (commercial) pavilion, which is not allowed by the order of the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
The ministry emphasized that participation of all organizations in the programs requires strict adherence to established requirements.
