The July beneficiary of the 'Power of One Dram' initiative was the environmental NGO 'My Forest Armenia'. The accumulated 5,094,763 drams were directed towards large-scale afforestation and reforestation efforts, contributing to the preservation of local biodiversity.
The August beneficiary is the NGO 'Orran', which provides care, education, and shelter for socially vulnerable children and lonely elderly individuals, as well as supporting families in crisis. The accumulated drams will enable the organization to provide its beneficiaries with necessary school clothing and stationery in preparation for the new school year.
Tatevik Vardevanyan, head of the Communications and Social Responsibility Programs at Idram and IDBank, emphasized the uniqueness of the collaboration. 'The new school year is the beginning of dreams and a great journey for every child, and our goal is to ensure that no child is left out of this joy due to social inequality. We are pleased that thanks to the 'Power of One Dram' initiative, the children benefiting from 'Orran' will start the school year fully prepared with the necessary school clothing and stationery. This best illustrates that public unity and care can lead to real change,' noted Tatevik Vardevanyan.
According to Armine Hovhannisyan, founder of the NGO 'Orran', such collaborations help expand support for vulnerable groups in society. 'We greatly appreciate our partnership with Idram and IDBank. The funds received through the 'Power of One Dram' initiative will be directed towards providing 'Orran' children with school clothing and stationery ahead of September 1. This partnership, based on shared values and mutual trust, allows us to extend a helping hand to all those in need of our support,' said Armine Hovhannisyan.
The 'Power of One Dram' initiative continues to support important social, community, and educational initiatives. To participate in the good deeds of the initiative, all payments must be made through the Idram&IDBank application, IDBanking.am, and banking.idram.am online platforms, as well as through Idram and IDBank terminals. For each payment, the companies will allocate one dram for the implementation of important programs,' the statement said.
Idram and IDBank are regulated by the Central Bank of Armenia.
