By the decision of the Board of Unibank dated August 3, 2026, Mher Ananyan has been appointed as the acting first deputy chairman of the board and included in the bank's board.
Mher Ananyan has around 30 years of professional experience in the financial and banking sector. Throughout his career, he has held several leadership positions in Armenia's financial institutions and public administration. From 1996 to 2003, he worked in several Armenian banks, including Hayekonombank, Hayagrobank, and Unibank. From 2020 to 2026, he led Araratbank, serving as the executive director and chairman of the board.
“Mher Ananyan's extensive professional experience and management skills will contribute to Unibank's strategic development and the effective implementation of its long-term goals,” the bank's statement said.
