The production of carbonated beverages has been suspended in Meghri. The food safety inspection authority conducted checks at the factory belonging to individual entrepreneur Armen Avagyan, which produces beverages under the brand "Meghri Refreshing Drinks" in the city of Meghri, located in the Syunik region.
During the inspection, sanitary and hygienic conditions that did not meet food safety requirements were identified. The structure and conditions of the production areas did not ensure proper cleanliness, disinfection, and protection against animals, rodents, and insects.
The ceilings of the factory did not prevent the accumulation of dirt and mold, as well as the risk of particles falling and moisture condensation. Additionally, there was no changing room for the staff.
Based on the identified violations, the factory's production activities have been suspended. The entrepreneur has been instructed to take necessary measures and bring the production area into compliance with the established requirements.
