Violations have been found in the land expropriation process of Masis and Jermuk. The Ararat region prosecutor's office filed lawsuits in the Anti-Corruption Court on August 5, 2026, seeking to nullify the auctions for the sale of a 0.57 ha plot from August 6, 2007, and a 750 sq. m plot from June 24, 2009.
The investigation revealed that there were several violations in the process of acquiring land plots owned by the deputy head of the Masis community, K.A., and individuals connected to him. The total area of the expropriated plots recorded during the investigation amounts to 95.5 ha.
The prosecutor's office, while exercising oversight over the legality of the criminal proceedings in the Investigative Committee, discovered signs of other alleged crimes and reported the alleged crime to the Anti-Corruption Committee.
