As of today, the decision of the Government of Armenia dated August 20, 2026, No. 1234-N, on making amendments to the decision of the Government of Armenia dated December 25, 2025, No. 1971-N has come into force, which provides for the allocation of an additional 5000 electric vehicles with customs duty exemption for Armenia in 2026. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy.
Of the additional 5000 units provided with customs duty exemption:
- 500 units are to be allocated to entities importing under a dealer-distributor agreement signed with the vehicle manufacturer;
- 4500 units are to be allocated to individual entrepreneurs, legal entities, and individuals.
