YEREVAN, August 21. /ARKA/. Liana Manukyan, a deputy from the opposition faction 'Strong Armenia', has been elected as the chairperson of the permanent commission of the National Assembly of Armenia for financial, credit, and budgetary issues.
According to the results of the secret ballot, 57 deputies voted for Manukyan's candidacy, while 39 voted against.
Previously, the 'Civil Contract' faction voted against the candidacy of Aik Farmanyan from 'Strong Armenia' for the position of chairperson of this commission.
