Trade, investment and new export opportunities were at the center of Armenian-Polish business talks in Yerevan.

Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade hosted Armenian-Polish business and investment discussions during the visit to Armenia of Polish Foreign Ministry State Secretary Marcin Bosacki. The agenda focused on expanding foreign trade, presenting Armenia's investment opportunities and exploring ways to deepen bilateral economic cooperation.

In his opening remarks, Deputy Foreign Minister and Deputy Minister of International Trade of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan said the meeting was symbolic because it was the first event with the business community organized under the ministry's updated mandate. He noted that the institution had previously operated as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and now functions as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, a change that brings broader responsibilities while creating new opportunities for engagement with businesses from partner countries.

Kostanyan also pointed to steady growth in trade turnover between the two countries. According to the figures he cited, bilateral trade reached about 19 million euros in 2025, posting a net increase of 12 million euros in just one year.

He separately highlighted Warsaw's supportive stance at a time when Armenia has faced difficulties exporting its products, especially agricultural goods. In recent months, he said, Poland was among the first countries to offer support, opening its market to Armenian agricultural producers.

After the official session, the event moved on to B2B meetings. Around 40 Armenian and Polish companies took part, representing key sectors including banking and insurance, mining and construction, agriculture and logistics, as well as information technology and high technology.
