Polish businesses are interested in investment and trade arrangements with Armenia.

Representatives of 15 major Polish companies have arrived in Armenia to discuss potential cooperation with Armenian businesses, according to Marcin Bosacki, State Secretary at Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He said the delegation includes companies from a broad range of sectors, from mining and IT to the space industry and agriculture.

In comments to Armenpress, Bosacki said the Polish business representatives have already met with their Armenian counterparts. He said Polish companies are ready to invest and are interested in reaching effective trade arrangements.

Among the possible areas of cooperation, he pointed to food imports from Armenia, particularly fruit and vegetables.

Bosacki added that business circles in Armenia and Poland are already discussing a number of potential deals and cooperation agreements.

He said politicians and diplomats can help open doors for business, while entrepreneurs should use those opportunities to build stronger direct cooperation.
