YEREVAN, July 14. /ARKA/. The head of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia, Mesrop Mesropyan, discussed tariff policy and the development of Armenia's energy market with representatives and an expert from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
According to the regulator's press service, the parties reviewed the mechanisms for tariff formation and the current regulatory methodology in the fields of electricity, gas supply, water supply, telecommunications, and other regulated sectors.
They also discussed the approval process for investment programs, criteria for their evaluation, and the impact of investments on tariffs. Special attention was given to the electricity market model, competition development, and further improvement of the sector.
