The temporary acting Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, Vahan Kostanyan, participated in the celebrations marking the 975th anniversary of the founding of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra in Kyiv. During the events, Vahan Kostanyan had brief conversations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, UNESCO Director-General Khaled El-Enany, Secretary-General of the UN World Tourism Organization Sheikh Al Nuyisi, and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybih.
During the conversations with the President and Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Vahan Kostanyan conveyed the congratulations of the highest leadership of Armenia on the occasion of the celebration and emphasized the historical and spiritual significance of the Lavra, including in the context of the centuries-old cultural ties between Armenia and Ukraine.
Highlighting the recent activation of high-level political contacts and the positive dynamics of economic cooperation, the interlocutors stressed the importance of ensuring the continuity of dialogue to enrich the Armenia-Ukraine bilateral agenda and strengthen relations.
