Converse Bank will join the Bank Pekao FI Day & 52nd BACEE International Banking Conference in Warsaw on October 8-9 as Lead Sponsor. The event is jointly organized by BACEE and Bank Pekao and is considered one of the key international gatherings for the banking sector in Central and Eastern Europe.
The conference will bring together representatives of international financial institutions, executives from leading banks in the region and industry experts. Discussions will focus on banking sector trends, international cooperation, trade finance, risk management, digitalization and other current issues.
Converse Bank will be represented by Nelli Kocharyan, Head of the Financial Institutions and International Banking Relations Department, and Lusine Balanyan, Head of the Investor Relations and Strategy Division. They are also expected to take part in the conference’s thematic sessions.
According to Grant Hakobyan, Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Management Board of Converse Bank and a member of the BACEE Board of Directors, international cooperation is one of the bank’s key development priorities. He said such platforms help expand the bank’s international presence, support Armenian businesses in building new business and financial ties, and present Armenia as a reliable partner for international financial institutions.
The bank said it has been steadily expanding its network of international partner and correspondent banking relationships. Converse Bank has been a BACEE member since 2024 and is actively involved in the association’s work.
