The Minister of High Technology of Armenia, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Sargsyan, visited the Defense Industry Committee on July 3, where they discussed the possibilities for applying domestic technological and defense potentials within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Chairman of the Defense Industry Committee, Aram Djivanian, presented the innovative achievements in the field, initiatives aimed at developing local companies, as well as leading technological solutions and high-tech products developed by Armenian engineering teams and research centers.
Possibilities for applying domestic products for the development of operational capabilities and technical modernization of the services under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, such as the police and rescue services, were discussed. The directions for developing and implementing technological solutions that meet the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as expanding cooperation with local technology companies, were also addressed.
The importance of more effective utilization of the potential of local producers and the expansion of the application of domestic high-tech products in the public administration system was emphasized.
At the end of the meeting, it was highlighted that effective cooperation between the public and private sectors is a crucial prerequisite for strengthening the country's security, developing the domestic defense industry, and enhancing technological independence.
