Under the chairmanship of Eduard Akopyan, the head of the State Revenue Committee (SRC), discussions were held regarding the risks in the field of crypto assets and blockchain technologies.
Participants included the first deputy chairman of the SRC, Vrej Mkrtchyan, the deputy chairman of the Committee, Hamlet Saakyan, and heads of relevant departments.
In his speech, Akopyan emphasized the importance of extensive training for SRC employees in the field of crypto assets and blockchain technologies, noting that the crypto world has become part of Armenian reality.
During the discussions, thematic reports were presented, and active discussions took place regarding legislative acts of the Republic of Armenia in the field of crypto assets, taxation mechanisms, as well as current control and operational oversight measures.
Summarizing the discussions, the chairman of the SRC also highly appreciated the opportunities for employees to apply the knowledge gained in practice.
