The State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia (SRC) has identified about 1.3 billion drams of shadow turnover at gas and diesel sales points:
According to the SRC, operational information was received indicating that a company operating in the Berd community of the Tavush region, engaged in the retail sale of liquefied gas, gasoline, and diesel fuel, did not fully reflect its sales revenue in the tax reports submitted to the tax inspectorate:
Officials from the committee conducted a detailed analysis of the data received, developed a sequence of measures, and carried out comprehensive actions. They obtained and studied data on the company's activities, including internal accounting reports and draft documents:
This data was compared with the tax reports submitted by the company for the same periods. It was found that from 2021 to 2026, the company understated its revenue from the sale of gasoline, diesel fuel, and liquefied gas by approximately 1.3 billion drams. As a result, about 415 million drams were not accounted for and paid into the state budget:
A report on the alleged crime has been sent to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, where a criminal case has been initiated.
