The Central Bank of Armenia is continuing the public consultation process on secondary regulations needed to implement the Law on Crypto-Assets and has released another draft rule for discussion.
The new draft is Regulation 7/13, which sets out the procedure, terms and timelines for granting the Central Bank’s prior consent for the delegation of functions by a person providing services with crypto-assets, as well as the grounds for refusing such consent.
The Central Bank thanked all participants who have already taken part in public consultations on draft rules for the crypto-assets sector and invited interested parties to submit comments and proposals on this document as well.
Submissions are open until October 1 of this year and should be sent to [email protected]. The email subject line should read “Կրիպտոակտիվների կանոնակարգում”, and the message should include the sender’s full name, the organization represented if applicable, and contact details for follow-up.
The Central Bank said it will summarize the feedback received and then organize a meeting with individuals and representatives of organizations that submitted comments in order to discuss them. The comments received and the positions on them will later be published.
