The Food Safety Inspection Body conducted an inspection at the dairy production facility owned by individual entrepreneur Ashot Harutyunyan (brand ‘Gandzak Dairy’) in Gandzak, Gegharkunik Province. It was found that dangerous food products were produced that do not comply with the safety and hygiene requirements set by legal acts in the field of food safety. The sample of ‘Lori Cheese’ did not meet the standards of the Customs Union's technical regulation on the safety of milk and dairy products regarding ‘coliform bacteria’ (CFB) indicators.
By the decision of the head of the inspection body, the production of ‘Lori Cheese’ at the dairy facility has been suspended.
A deadline has been set for eliminating the identified violations.
