The production activities of a public catering facility in Yerevan have been suspended. During an inspection conducted by the Food Safety Inspection Body at the public catering facility owned by 'Norfood' LLC (Yerevan, 11 Koryuni St.), it was found that the requirements of the Government of the Republic of Armenia had been violated.
According to the statement released by the FSIB, the artificial ventilation system of the food establishment failed to prevent the infiltration of contaminated air into the space, and the walls of the kitchen had uneven surfaces and were not made of waterproof, non-absorbent, and washable materials.
The working surfaces in direct contact with food were not maintained in a repaired condition, and the establishment lacked a changing room for staff.
By the decision of the head of the inspection body, the production activities of the public catering facility have been suspended until the identified violations are rectified.
